Central CCAC announces new Chief Executive Officer

Richmond Hill ON, July 20, 2015 – After a comprehensive recruitment and selection process, the Board of Directors of the Central Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) has announced the appointment of Megan Allen-Lamb as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective September 21, 2015.

"Megan is a highly respected leader in the health and community care sector," says Joe Parker, Central CCAC's Board Chair. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that makes her an ideal choice for this leadership role."

Allen-Lamb has a proven track record in delivering meaningful and transformative outcomes through strategic alliances and ventures that result in system integration and better patient experience. She is also a champion in engaging patients and their families in the co-design of programs and services, which is a priority for the Central CCAC.

In her current role as Chief Executive Officer at North Simcoe Muskoka CCAC, Megan led her team to improve relationships with health care partners resulting in quality, integrated care for patients. Focusing on shared system priorities and in partnership with her hospital colleagues, Megan has achieved significant outcomes for patients with complex needs transitioning from hospital to home. She has been instrumental in leading the design and implementation of an in-home and community capacity strategy on behalf of the North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).

Previously Allen-Lamb held senior-level positions with the South West, Champlain and Haldimand-Norfolk CCACs and brings diverse experience in all areas of the organization, including human resources, organizational leadership, performance management and accountability, patient services, strategic planning and quality improvement.
