Michel Parent Joins Champlain CCAC’s Board of Directors

OTTAWA, September 4, 2014—The Champlain Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michel Parent to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Parent was born and raised in Rimouski, Quebec, where he completed his Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, followed by an MBA at Laval University in Quebec City. He has recently added the title of Financial Planner, obtained with the Quebec Institute of Financial Planners.

"I enjoy giving back to my local community and I am looking forward to making a difference and bringing a rural community perspective to the board," said Mr. Parent.

Mr. Parent has several years of experience with, among others, Scotiabank, Export Development Canada and Desjardins Group. Since February 2012, he has held the position of General Manager, Desjardins Business - Eastern Ontario. He is currently president of The Prescott-Russell Chamber of Commerce Inc. and president of The Prescott-Russell Business Alliance.
