I'm pleased to bring you the second edition of our new Care Report! I appreciated your questions and comments on our first edition – your feedback is very important to me. You can expect to receive this report every month, and you can view past editions on our
website. The goal of this report is to help partners understand our current program capacity and to share information on key home and community care metrics.
As you will note in the Program Capacity snapshot below, we are seeing continued strong demand for home and community care services – and continued growth in complex care. Balancing rising demand with available program capacity is certainly a challenge. However, we are committed to working with our partners to care for as many people at home and in the community as possible.
Please take the opportunity to read our 20-Point Action Plan:
Maintaining Increasingly Complex Patients at Home. This plan will guide our efforts over the next year and beyond as we continue to advance quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient care. Partnerships are vital to our commitment to ensuring patients receive care in the most appropriate setting.
Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for June 22. The meeting will focus on our action plan and the IMPACTT Centre, our new innovation hub for home and community care. Space is limited – please RSVP if you would like to attend.
I welcome your
questions or comments on this report.
