Erie St. Clair CCAC Celebrates Staff

Chatham, ON – The Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) has honoured about 200 staff members as part of its Years of Service and Employees of Excellence awards celebration.

During the ceremony held Monday evening, 89 home and community care employees were recognized for achieving 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30-year anniversary milestones. Nearly 100 more employees were honoured as either nominees or recipients of the six Employee of Excellence Awards. The recipients were:

Employee of Excellence Award – Tina Badour

Community Partnership Award – Mental Health & Addictions Nurses (Linda Zoccano, Nicole Rasmussen, Catherin Dobry, Natalie Westfall, Suzanne Rodgers, Kate Wheelton-Lakaniuk, Tracey Brooke)

Internal Collaboration Award – Christina Laidlaw

Resource Utilization Award – Contracts Team (Paula Vanthournout, Hollie Rice-Mitchell, Michelle Mineau)

Innovative Use of Technology Award – Stacey Glassford

Patient and Family Centred Care Award – Jenna Martin

“Each of these awards of excellence are based on our CCAC’s Strategic Directions and Enablers. All of the nominees stood out to their peers as individuals or teams that demonstrate exemplary work day-in and day-out,” said CEO Lori Marshall. “It’s important to note that nominations were open to all CCAC staff and the recipients were selected by a group of their peers.”

“Our patients benefit from having such an experienced and dedicated CCAC staff and they can feel assured in knowing our employees will continue to be leaders in home and community care for years to come,” continued Marshall.

The Erie St. Clair CCAC has about 450 employees serving more than 39,000 patients across Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.
