Honouring our Exceptional Caregivers

Chatham, ON – The Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) will honour all of the inspirational caregivers nominated for the 4th annual Heroes In The Home recognition program during three upcoming events.

Windsor - Tuesday, November 15 – The Riviera on Central (Platinum Room)
Chatham - Thursday, November 17 – Portuguese Canadian Social Club
Sarnia - Tuesday, November 22 – The Dante Club

Media is invited to attend the celebrations, honouring 129 Heroes across Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton. Honourees will be presented with a certificate and gift to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to caregiving.

“I am overwhelmed by the response we received from the community this year,” said CEO Lori Marshall. “We set an ambitious goal to honour 100 Heroes, compared to nearly 70 nominations last year. To be celebrating 129 caregivers tells me that not only is there a high level of appreciation for these exceptional individuals, there’s also a lot of people personally touched by caregiving at home and in the community.”

Registration begins at 2pm for each event, with the program getting underway promptly at 2:30pm.
