Lori Marshall, RPh, BscPhm, MHA, CHE

Chief Executive Officer

"Most of us see ourselves aging in"" our own homes, surrounded by the people we love and the comfort of familiar surroundings.  The goal of the CCAC is to deliver on that vision by connecting people in a coordinated way to home and community care.  As our aging population grows, the need to find new ways to support people in their homes is imperative.  This is what brought me to the CCAC.  I love to work with patients, clinicians and others to find innovative solutions.  For me, the sustainability of our health care system depends on accessible and responsive home and community care."

As the Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Lori Marshall works collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to set strategic vision and direction. With a devotion to innovation, she is committed to community health systems and understands the importance of patient and family centred care.

"From now through 2017, we will be very focused on 3 areas of improvement.  We will engage with our community to learn from the patient experience, we will collaborate with our partners in care to reduce the impact of chronic disease and we will enhance care coordination to ensure the right care at the right place and in the right time.  We look forward to working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve these goals and will report back annually on our progress."

Ms. Marshall has significant experience working in the health care sector. As a former Vice-President at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, she was responsible for the operation of various clinical programs during the period of transition where the hospital grew from a community hospital into an academic health sciences centre.
