Full-Time Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary:


Reporting to, and under the direction of the Manager, Information Systems, this position will be accountable for completing IT projects ranging in size and complexity using a broad range of technologies.


  • Analyze processes or system solutions for improvement
  • Use technical and management skills to create solutions
  • Gathering requirements from stake holders
  • Creating, manage and communicating project plans to stakeholders
  • Execute comprehensive testing
  • Collaborate with Communications Department on  implementation plans
  • Create full user and support documentation for engineered systems
  • Create and execute education for all system users
  • Implement engineered solutions with minimal disruption to regular business


  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Programming experience
  • 5 years or more working in information systems above tier one service desk
  • 2-3 years experience working in a health care setting, highly desirable
  • Past IS project management experience a plus


  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve problems in systems
  • Strong communication skills with training experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills in order to present prototypes and train staff
  • Attention to detail, time management, customer-service orientation, and creative problem solving skills required
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Programming ( .NET, XML, C#, Java, DHTML)
  • SharePoint Server and SharePoint designer highly desirable
  • Basic Networking knowledge
  • Microsoft Office
  • SQL Server
  • VoIP experience is a plus
  • Windows client server environment
