JANE MCINTOSH - Chair
Jane spent 32 years as a teacher and Department Head of the Library with the Haldimand County Board of Education. She has served as a Board member for Kids Can Fly, an organization focused on positive change in the promotion of early childhood development in Brant and also, with the Adult Recreation Therapy Centre, a community-based adult day program. Jane has served as President of the Brantford Aquatic Club and Vice President of South Central Ski Patrol. Since 2010, Jane has been a caregiver and has worked closely with physicians, hospital and medical staff, and community organizations.
DEIDRE (DEE) HENNE - Treasurer
Deidre Henne is a Chartered Accountant with an MBA, in-depth accounting, financial planning, treasury, contract negotiation, risk management and human resource expertise. Deidre is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Vice-President of McMaster University. From 2002 to 2011 she held a number of positions at Hamilton Health Sciences, finishing her tenure as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Population Health Research Institute & Director of Research. She has experience effectively leading finance and information technology reorganizations and large capital projects.
Rosemary Cabral, CPA, CA
Rosemary Cabral is a Chartered Professional Accountant and senior member of the Finance and Accounting team for a large manufacturing company. A graduate of McMaster University, Rosemary has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a minor in French. As a lifelong Hamilton resident, Rosemary is an active member of her community who serve as a volunteer for charitable organizations. Currently, Rosemary lives in Mount Hope with her husband and two children.
Corinne is an experienced and effective consultant serving in a variety of private and not-for-profit agencies and government ministries in the health care sector. With a passion for health and seniors' issues, she has extensive experience in communications, public relations, and patient education. Corinne holds an M.A. in anthropology and M.Sc. in research design, measurement and evaluation from McMaster University. She also holds a doctorate (DHealth) from the School of Health, University of Bath in the United Kingdom.
Dave Ringler retired from Ontario's wine industry following 34 years at Andres Wines. He spent 23 years in the marketing department finishing his tenure as Vice President Marketing. He then became Executive Vice President of Operations responsible for building a customer oriented Operations team. He was also active with the Wine Council of Ontario serving as Chair of the Wine Promotion and Market Development Committee, the Grape Advisory Committee and the Grape Price Negotiating Committee. In addition to serving previously on the HNHB CCAC Board of Directors, he has served as a member of the Board of the St. Catharines General Hospital, the Hospital Restructuring Committee that lead to the formation of the Niagara Health System (NHS), the Board of the NHS and is chair of the City of St. Catharines Parking Advisory Committee and a member of the Committee of Adjustment.
As a certified human resources professional, Kelly Turkstra has worked in the transportation and natural resources industries with experience in sales, market analysis and account management. Kelly has served as a community member of HNHB CCAC's Board Finance Committee for the past year, and is also an active volunteer in her local community.
A graduate of McMaster University, Kelly holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Diploma in Human Resources Management.
