Healthy Habits

Many people tend to get sick during the winter months. That's because there are many viruses circulating in our community including our work place, the grocery store, movie theatres,  restaurants and even our children.  Studies show the flu virus can live and potentially infect a person from 2-to-8 hours after being deposited on a surface.

There are a number of things we can do to stay healthy …

  1. Clean surfaces using disinfectant wipes including keyboards, phone, remote control,
    tables, etc
  2. Keep a bottle of alcohol-based hand rub at your desk and use it frequently
  3. Never touch or rub your eyes throughout the day
