The Mississauga Halton CCAC has won two Gold Hermes Creative Awards, one for the "Covering All the Bases Playbook" and a second for the "Covering All the Bases Internal Communications Campaign" in support of our review by Accreditation Canada.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, as well as emerging technologies. This year, there were more than 5,500 entries of which only 21 per cent were honoured with a gold award.
"We are honoured and pleased to accept these awards for this inspirational and innovative campaign," says Caroline Brereton, CEO, Mississauga Halton CCAC. "Covering All the Bases demonstrates a high standard of excellence and serves as a benchmark for the industry."
Entries for the Hermes Awards come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators and freelancers.
Ms. Brereton explains, "Our campaign contributed to the evidence of care we provide patients and families and helped us earn Exemplary Status – 100 per cent from Accreditation Canada."
"Covering All the Bases" internal campaign offered fun baseball themed activities that lifted staff above the daily routine to conquer the challenge of achieving exemplary status of accreditation. "The Playbook" was an innovative resource provided to all staff that outlined practical tips and information about priority processes and standards and gave sample questions and answers.
