Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) are independent charitable, not for profit organizations funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care (MOHLTC) through the Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs). The CCACs are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors comprised of members from those communities that the CCAC serves.
North West CCAC has a twelve member Board of Directors. The Board operates on a Policy Governance Framework, the main focus of the Board work being the establishment of strategic directions for the organization.
