In cooperation with research partners and supporters, the North West Community Care Access Centre (NWCCAC) is committed to excellence in research that will directly contribute or assist in achieving improved care and well-being of individuals.
The NWCCAC, within the limits of its available resources, and having due regard for the intended purpose of its client services funding, will support research initiatives that meet the following criteria:
- The research initiative is consistent with the NWCCAC Mission, Vision, Values, Strategic Plan and Community Annual Planning Submission.
- Research will conform to NWCCAC policies and guidelines regarding research ethics and standards, professional conduct, and the protection of human research participants.
- The outcome of the research and the ownership of any new apparatus or procedures will be subject to the intellectual property policy of the NWCCAC and/or the research affiliation agreements with its research partners.
