DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PROJECT ASSISTANT

7 WEEK PLACEMENT (SUMMER STUDENT)

THUNDER BAY – NW14-27

Position Description

The key objective of this position is to provide assistance to the Project Team to complete activities to successfully implement the docushare feature in the CHRIS (Client Health Related Information System) in the North West CCAC.  This project is critical to allow more effective and efficient service of clients.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data review/preparation, data entry and testing/validation
  • Other related duties as required

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in meetings
  • Adhere to all responsibilities as per personnel policies of the organization
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal and client safety
  • Adherence to privacy standards/confidentiality is a must

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Keyboarding skills, accuracy essential
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be well-organized and able to work independently within set guidelines
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Attention to detail 

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:         7 weeks from commencement, 30 hours per week


SALARY:    $12.00 per hour (includes 10% in lieu of benefits)
