TRANSITIONAL CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Rod brings a proven track record of strategic leadership and significant experience with business intelligence (BI), quality and performance measurement, community health planning, funding and policy development, and a broad knowledge of Ontario's home care and long-term care sectors.
During his eight years with the Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres (OACCAC) Rod created and led multi-disciplinary teams responsible for BI functions and services to enable sector-wide reporting and benchmarking, analytical support for strategic projects, and the implementation and maintenance of a BI infrastructure that provides near real time access to patient data.
Rod previously worked at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Long-Term Care Planning and Renewal Branch with a focus on planning, data collection, and the development of policy and long-term care legislation. Rod is a licensed professional engineer with a degree from the University of Washington and has worked with product design teams at various companies across North America.
