Medical / Drug Benefit
This plan provides partial reimbursement for supplementary health services such as: prescription drugs, semi-private hospital room, eye exams/glasses/contact lenses, etc. Benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable policy/procedure or collective agreement provisions.
This plan provides for reimbursement of basic, restorative, and orthodontic services, subject to some maximums. Plan coverage will vary depending on employee group eligibility criteria and the applicable policy/procedure or collective agreement provisions.
Life insurance benefits are offered through SSQ.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Additional financial protection is offered to your family in the event of accidental death or dismemberment while you are an employee.
Short-Term Sick Leave Benefits
Short term sick leave benefits are provided in the event of non-occupational illness or injury. The entitlement varies depending on employee group and length of service with the South East CCAC.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Compensation is provided in the event it's determined that an employee is unable to perform their occupation.
Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)

The amount of the supplemental benefit, the length of the leave and any other allowances during such leave are outlined in the applicable policy/procedure or collective agreement.
The South East CCAC compensates for 12 statutory holidays per year. Casual, part-time, and contract employees are offered a percentage in lieu of benefits, sick leave, and holidays.
Vacation entitlement varies depending on the employee group and your length of employment. Casual, part-time and contract employees receive a percentage in lieu of vacation.
The South East CCAC offers Canada Savings Bonds through payroll deduction.
