Employee and Labour Relations Coordinator
Temporary Full-time (75 hours bi-weekly, up to 18 months)
Location: Flexible (within our South East regional offices)
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources & Labour Relations, the Employee & Labour Relations Coordinator, will provide expert level consultation in Employee/Labour Relations matters, including but not limited to collective agreement administration, grievance administration, performance management, employment/human rights legislation and investigations.
This position requires flexibility in adapting to changes in a fast paced customer focused environment while presenting a positive approach to relationship building. The incumbent requires excellent analytical and interpretation skills to ensure compliance between collective agreements and internal policies and procedures. The individual requires good facilitation and presentation skills to initiate and carry out a variety of department specific projects and develops recommendations for HR management as appropriate. The Employee & Labour Relations Coordinator is required to be organized and able to prioritize daily activities in a professional and confidential manner.
