Open CCAC Board Meetings - Archived

Schedule of Board Meeting Dates

  • March 22, 2017

Board Meetings are open and accessible to the public except where the Corporations Act allows the Board to meet In Camera. As per Board Policy V-B-7, the Board may close to the public any meeting or part of a meeting if the Board deems an In Camera session to be necessary. Matters that may generally be dealt with in an In Camera session include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial, audits, personal, or other matters that may be disclosed of such a nature that the need to avoid disclosure of them, in the public interest or in the interest of any person affected, outweighs the principle that meetings be open to the public;
  • Matters of personnel; or where the safety of a person may be jeopardized;
  • Litigation or potential litigation; or any legal advice provided to the Board; or any other matter subject to solicitor-client privilege
  • Contracts and/or details of contracts under negotiation including those related to labour relations, or protected by Procurement Law and/or practices;
  • Nominations and potential nominations to the Board of Directors;
  • Personal health information, as defined in section 4 of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004
  • Patient records and cases including appeals; and
  • Property and security matters.

Board Meetings are held at CCAC Offices throughout the South West.
