Vice President, Quality and Patient Experience
Steven Carswell joined the South West CCAC team in 2015 as the Director of Quality and was promoted to Vice President, Quality and Patient Experience in 2017. With extensive home and community care experience and his expertise in quality improvement, Steven is strategic in his approach to improving patient care through collaborative relationships with partners, and the development of clear and concise processes that improve efficiency. Steven strongly believes that patients should have the ability to provide meaningful feedback on the quality of their care and this feedback can inform our health care system on opportunities to improve health care for all patients. At the South West CCAC, he is responsible for Quality Improvement, Service Provider Performance Management, Patient Relations, Infection Prevention and Control, Patient Experience , and for numerous strategic programs including the South West Regional Wound Care Program, Partnering for Quality, and the South West Self Management Program.
