If you need a family doctor in Ontario, Health Care Connect can help.
Health Care Connect is a program that helps people through the process of finding a family doctor or nurse practitioner who is accepting new patients. It's a program developed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
To access the service, you must be currently without a primary care provider, and you must have a valid Ontario Health Card. The Health Care Connect website outlines a simple registration process, or call 1-800-445-1822![]( "Call: 1-800-445-1822")

After you have joined Health Care Connect, a nurse, called a Care Connector, will help you find a health-care provider in your area. Your Care Connector will be your main point of contact and will provide you more information by mail after your registration is complete.
