Serving the over 750,000 residents of the Region of Waterloo, Wellington County, the City of Guelph and South Grey County, the Waterloo Wellington Community Care Access Centre (WWCCAC) facilitates care in the home and community, and co-ordinates long-term care options. As one of fourteen CCACs in the province, the WWCCAC annually serves over 35,000 clients directly and through its contracted care providers. A complex and diversified enterprise with an operating budget in excess of $125 million, the WWCCAC, its 400+ employees, and 18 contracted service provider agencies and their staff strive to provide equitable access, individualized care co-ordination and quality health care.
The Board of Directors wishes to recruit an accomplished leader to take WWCCAC to its next level of achievement. Experienced at an executive level in the community-based health care sector, you are passionate about excellence in care provision while being a prudent and thoughtful steward of human and financial resources. You have a track record of implementing innovative care delivery solutions and you are regarded by your peers as dynamic, progressive, collaborative, transparent and possessing a high level of integrity.
Leading with the courage of your convictions, you are energized by making strategy come alive in an environment where success is predicated on strong partnerships with a diverse array of other health, social service, and educational partners. Well-versed in contemporary governance practices, you will work collaboratively with an engaged Board. Your participative style, with staff and Board alike, will help ensure that creative service delivery opportunities to better address the needs of our client population are surfaced, assessed and implemented.
