Senior Director, Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer
Serving the over 750,000 residents in the Region of Waterloo, Wellington County, the City of Guelph and South Grey County, the Waterloo Wellington Community Care Access centre (WWCCAC) provides information and referral, facilitates care in the home and community, and co-ordinates long-term care options. As one of fourteen CCACs in the province, the WWCCAC annually serves over 36,000 clients directly and through its contracted care providers. A complex and diversified enterprise with an operating budget in excess of $125 million, the WWCCAC and its 400+ employees strives to provide equitable access, individualized care co-ordination and quality health care.

The WWCCAC wishes to recruit a Senior Director, Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer to lead the Corporate Services portfolio into the future, supporting the WWCCAC through health system funding reform and ensuring overall effectiveness in all areas of the portfolio so that the organization is operating at peak performance and delivering the highest quality of care at the right time and in the right place to its clients. The new Senior Director will, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, advance the transformation agenda the WWCCAC is undertaking and have the opportunity to create new programs, targets and patient care models as a result.

If you have a passion for community based health care service delivery, interdisciplinary collaboration, partnership, transformation, an intimate knowledge and understanding of government funded models, health system funding reform, a deep financial background coupled with operations, IT, Human Resources and Decision Support oversight, then this is a role you should consider. Ideal candidates also possess a financial designation, at least seven years progressive experience and success in health care finance and operations leadership roles, are a strategic systems thinker, have highly developed change management skills, creative problem solving abilities and a proven track record of developing effective initiatives with a variety of stakeholders.
