Ontario Health atHome Statement – Delivery of Infusion and Medical Supplies

Ontario Health atHome is working to resolve issues related to the delivery of medical supplies for some patients. We are doing everything we can to address this situation and are continuing to look for opportunities to stabilize the delivery of these critical medical items. There is no single product or set of products that is not available or in short supply.

On September 24, we launched new contracts for the delivery of medical supplies as our contracts were expiring. Ontario Health atHome’s goal was to ensure access to high quality products across all regions, improve supplier resiliency, enhance processes and better service standards.

We are working together with vendors and service providers to restore the high-quality care patients, their families and caregivers deserve.

Patients experiencing issues related to these supply challenges are encouraged to contact their care coordinator directly. For situations that require further escalation, patients can call our toll-free Medical Supplies Escalation Line at 1-866-377-7567 which is available 24/7. This will connect you to our patient care contracts team who are available to support escalated issues and concerns. The team will follow up on the patient’s behalf to coordinate their care needs.
